Deep in My Last Day of Summer

This is a picture of about the only people (besides my parents and church goers) that i look forward to seeing when i get back to canton. it is Andrew and Lauren Wacaser, and their son Aiden. they are one of the best families i know of.

this is why they are awesome parents. this is literally his lunch..... i am jealous of him. he will have a great childhood!

this is the last day of my summer. i will miss it, it was an awesome summer. bye bye

Deep in My Last Day of Work

well it was my last day at work at Mother's Bistro and it was a sad day. 

one thing to note. i did plan on trying to stay away from women this summer..... well that didn't really work out. i worked with mostly women.

this is my friend erin she is pretty cool. i worked with her every morning i worked, so my job was to clean up her messes... i could always tell when she made a big mess cause i would always hear  (clink, clank......) "OOOO motherf***er" then i would swoop into to save the day and her sanity! she will be sorely missed. but not her messes

this is Shawnelle. she has been working in coffee shops since she was 17 so she knows everything about coffee. she was hilarious to work with. it was good to hear about her life and her kid. she is also a good bartender on the weekend.

this is Elena. she is from Moldova! which is a country south of the Ukraine. she worked here and at a motel in town. she was a hard worker and a good dishwasher. i hope she has fun in school this next year.

this is the marvelous Corina. she was hilarious also and was great help on finding places to run. her girls were the cutest ever also. she is pictured here holding a scone. yumm those are really good!

this is my man Adam. you cant tell with his arm around me but he is pretty buff which adds to his BAness. this man makes better eggs than Calvin does... which is a pretty high bar to beat. he is a master cook and chef. i wish i could eat his food all the time.

this is Literally The Daughter of Mothers and Daughters. this is Renee my bosses daughter and also my boss. she was a hoot and always understanding if i needed to take a day off for stuff. i'll be contacting her maybe for a job next year.

i will miss this job. it was hard starting out but maybe i'll come back.

Deep in My New Music

CHAPMAN STICK!

that is the new instrument i have found and adore!!!
a man came to work today that was here a month ago. and i really liked his music and the instrument he was playing.

 this is the instrument. it is basically a bass and guitar combined. and it sounds great! i also bought a CD from the guy. his name was David Tipton. he was awesome and definitely knew exactly how to play this really really cool instrument.

Deep in My Colorado Weekend

well this past weekend i went and travel around colorado.

first i went and visited my grandparents in Fort Collins. that saturday we went shopping at garage sales and other places. got some good stuff. then we went that night to a dinner theater to watch Annie Get Your Gun. it was a really good show! i highly recommend it.

i next went to Colorado Springs to see my good friend Lyndsey Gambrell. it was a lot of fun there. we first had Ribs at her house and they were amazing.

we then drove around town (very fast) then she went manic and we didn't know where where we were going so we went and rented rango and i watched that while lyndsey fell asleep. lol 

in the morning i went with lyndsey and her mom to there kickboxing class. that was pretty fun. i have the endurance to keep up but my only problem was the technic of it. o well the next i was really sore from class in my back and forearms. after that i went running with her mom and talked.

at the end of the day it was a farewell at the GREATEST RESTRUANT EVERY!!!!! chick-fil-a! it was really good but was sad to leave! 

Deep in My Life in Colorado

well Colorado is my favorite place in the world but without stuff to do..... it is really boring. but hey my summers have been boring since my sophomore year in high school. and i still can't figure out how to save money. (which buying an Xbox isn't the smartest thing in the world) but no matter. just got to save every penny now! but i do wish i had more to do than just run and and run. went hiking once and would like to hike again. and i can go see some movies in salida but that is by myself. just lonely. this might be my life after college! (which is a scary thought)
i am not much for countdowns but i have 38 days left before i am back in okc for xc camp then after camp i am back in oklahoma for good! can't wait till then.

Deep in My Fourteener's

Yes i did say "fourteener's" i hiked 4 of them today
Democrat 14,148 ft
Cameron 14,238 ft
Lincoln 14,286 ft
and Bross 14,172 ft
it only took 7 hours total! it was so worth the 5:30 wake up.
we slept outside at 12,000 feet the night before, and i was cold but the sky was great!
i had some good friends with me on this trip. my friends Kara, Jonathon and his wife Brooke, and their friend Alan, we flew up the mountain to hit Democrat first we hit it at 7:35. we then hit Cameron at 9:30. then Lincoln shortly after 9:50. then finally Mt. Bross at 11:15. it was a great trip!

  this next picture is of Jonathon and Brooke while we were glissading. glissading is where you sled on your but down a slope of snow. we did it a total of 4 times down the side of Bross. :)

Deep in my Work

well my work is an ok job. i do not want to do this the rest of my life.

my boss is.. well let me say demanding. she whats things done her way and she expects you to see her do it once and then know how to do it perfectly then on. today i asker her for the key to the garage cause it was locked and i needed food from in there, well she looks at me like i am a bother and an idiot when she promptly says, "i don't have it. i think it is in the office. go ask someone else."

o well that is life

MY job at this place i have come to realize is Inventory and everything and anything else, because i get told what is wrong and how to fix it even if i had nothing to do with that area and never went there. it is still my responsibility to get it right. i will be so happy to be back at school and to do a job i like. reffing. its way easier.

the people i work with are cool! they all have tattoos and smoke. i have not seen a co-worker that doesn't have a tattoo or smoke. but they are all hilarious and just have good personalities. i'll talk about them at a later time and describe them more in depth.

well day two and another rant. :)

Deep in My Life

well since a lot of my friends have blogs i thought i might join them in having one. so this is my first one

here it goes

well i thought since its my first blog i think i should talk about something i know almost nothing about....... Love.

Love is something that, in this life, has eluded me. i know only of the fantasy of it, the idea of it, and the dream of it. i have thought to be in it but have been wrong on all counts.
it is a thing only God can give through his grace. i love the Lord and he loves me. this is the only love i need and really want. i experienced that love today when a car swerved out in front of me and would have hit me head-on but God let me have good sight and i was able to swerve around and miss him.
I haven't been the best follower of Jesus for most of my life and getting and staying on track is hard.

but talking about Love from a Human standpoint is different. it is hard to like someone who hurts you! I don't know what I am going to do with Women. they are a constant mystery that changes with the rising of the sun. i know men are the same to girls but i somehow know i am not a complicated guy. but i am an idiot to women. but we will see who God decides to put in my path that actually knows they are in my path!
